WLYC GP14 Sailors Sweep the Podium at Bass Week

Greg Thomas & Charlotte Cooper, Martin Cooper & Stuart McKenzie, and Andrew Ashworth & Mark Newton claimed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their fleet with Steve Blackburn both sailing in a Streaker and keeping the party going ashore.

West Lancashire Yacht Club sailors dominated their fleet at a wonderful celebration of sailing at Bass Week 2025, taking first, second, and third places in a display of skill and consistency.

Adding to the WLYC presence, DJ Enterprise Steve Blackburn not only competed during the week but also kept the whole event buzzing each evening with his music and entertainment.
