Winter Social Season Starts Now at West Lancs!

As we sail into the colder months, there's still plenty happening on and off the water at West Lancs! Our Winter Social Season has plenty of events for members, families, and friends to enjoy — the perfect way to stay connected, active, and warm.
Make sure these dates are in your diary:
Weekly Club Nights
Every Thursday, 19:30 onwards
Everyone's welcome — members, families, and friends!
Join us for a relaxed drink and maybe try your hand at Flying Snooker, a great West Lancs tradition, or play pool. All members including accompanied juniors are welcome.
Prizegiving Supper
Saturday 22nd November — 18:00 for 18:30
Our highlight of the social calendar - join us for a family-friendly two-course hot buffet supper as we celebrate all of the sailing season's achievements, with awards for sailors at every level and volunteers too! Plenty of fun and not too formal!

Decorate the Club for Christmas

Come along and help make the Club sparkle for Christmas — it's on Club night and always a fun evening!
Lets Launch Christmas Special

Everyone welcome! Enjoy a social sail (weather permitting) or simply join in for the collaborative Christmas lunch at the Club.
Annual General Meeting
Thursday 11th December, 20:00
Have your say on the Club's development plans and hear about our progress, whilst enjoying another evening at the Club - the bar will be open for refreshments!

We're planning at least one Friday Social Lunch during the first quarter of 2026 — watch this space for dates!
Burns Night & Ceilidh

Get your tartan and dancing shoes ready for one of the most popular nights of the year!
Annual Dinner
Saturday 21st February
A more formal dinner celebrating sailing and our long association with kindred clubs in the region.
We can't wait to see you at the Club this winter — come along, bring friends and family, and enjoy the warmth of the West Lancs community!
