Southport Learning Town initiative launched at West Lancs!

West Lancs was delighted to host the launch of Southport Learning Town (SLT) initiative on Friday 13th June 2025, led by local MP Patrick Hurley and Dr Alan Potter and Chris Howorth from the SLT Management Committee.

We're proud to be a part of this collaboration of learning providers, enriching  our community, whilst making the most of its heritage. West Lancs Yacht Club is making a positive contribution by making sail training a learning opportunity accessible for everyone, including all ages and abilities, for example through 'West Lancs Kids' - click here to find out more about our schools outreach programme in collaboration with two Southport primary schools.
