Entertainment at the WLYC 24 Hour Race

Alongside the sailing, the 24 Hour Race is well known for its lively social programme, bringing together competitors, volunteers, and visitors in the welcoming atmosphere of the WLYC Clubhouse. Across the weekend, we are pleased to host two evenings of live entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

Friday 12th September The 24 Hour Race Eve Party

On the evening before the race begins, the Clubhouse will host the traditional Friday Night Party.

• The Deltatones will provide live music, performing a mix of classic and contemporary songs.

• DJ Enterprise will keep the celebrations going late into the night with a set featuring popular favourites.

This is the biggest social gathering of the weekend and a great way to come together ahead of the race start. The evening begins at 8pm and continues until late.

Saturday 13th September Blues Night

During the race itself, the Clubhouse offers a more relaxed atmosphere for those taking a break from sailing or volunteering.

• Live music will be provided by Danger Goat, performing a set that celebrates the blues.

Music will run from 7pm until 11pm, providing the perfect chance to unwind and enjoy the company of fellow race participants and supporters.
