Charity Fun Run

A Charity Fun Run is taking place along Marine Drive in aid of two of the charities set up for two of the little girls following the tragic events of July 2024 in Southport. The charities are Alices Wonderdance and Elsies Story and the organiser David Marsh who represents the two charities is looking to organise a 2km, 5km and 10km run on Saturday evening 5th September at 6.30pm. The route will commence at or near the rear of Adventure Coast and run along Marine Drive to Fairway, Promenade, Esplanade and back to the start. One lap represents 5km and two laps measures 10km. It will take approximately two hours for all to complete the race but Marine Drive could be re-opened by 8pm at the latest.
